The menu is small but delicious and nothing here is disposable, except for the paper napkins, that is why can't have the highest score. Our favorite appetizer is the Artichoke Dip, it is really delicious. All the flatbread as good as well, but I think I especially like the Wild mushroom one. The Quinoa Bowl (photo) is in my top list. The selection of beers is good, service is kind and efficient. Beirut , West Saint Paul, MN 55118 🌿🌿🌿🌿 This is one of the first restaurant I tried since I moved to Saint Paul. I have been there several times, last time with my family that visited me from Peru. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the space is small but very well decorated, there is always some music playing that transport you to the beautiful landscape of Lebanon, that you can see in the pictures around the room. There is a menu for two, one with meat and one veggie, that includes seven different plates (in the photo the veggie option), plus kebabs, rice and pita bread. It is plenty for two, so maybe you have some leftovers. I always bring my own Tupperware, just in case. Chimborazo , Minneapolis 🌿🌿🌿🌿 I was so happy to try the food at Chimborazo, an Ecuatorian restaurant in Minneapolis. It is a small business with two rooms but the service is very good and of course, the food as well. Nothing is one use only, even the container for the leftovers is ecofriendly. I tried the veggie "saltado" that was very spicy but anyway very good. The best of everything are the "patacones" and the "salsa criolla" that come with it. I have been in Ecuador in different moments of my life and I always liked it. It is also the home country of close friends and a brother country to Peru. I visited Chimborazo after attending Cine Latino festival and watching an Ecuatorian docummentary "After they were gone," (2019) the opera prima of Veronica Haro Abril. With my pal Camilo, in my first visit to Red Cow Red Cow , St Paul, Minnesota 🌿🌿🌿🌿 For my husband this is the best (or one of the best) hamburgers that he has ever try and believe me when I tell you that he have eaten a lot of hamburgers everywhere. So, I won't discuss his opinion because in this field he is the expert. His favorite is the award hamburger: Double Barrel Burger (2016 Battle Winner). I prefer veggie burguers that I make at home following the recipies of Venu Sanz chef, but when I go to eat outside this is definetely the best option. I tried two of Red Cow veggie options and I like more the Veggie Love (curried chickpea burger, avocado salsa, sliced red cabbage). I have also tried So Cal Burger but it really taste like a regular burger and I can't tell what is in it, so that is uncomfortable for me, I prefer knowing what I am eating. Luci Ancora, St Paul, MN 55105 🌿🌿🌿🌿 A very classic style, the decoration of this restaurant is sober, simple and beautiful. It has a three course prix fixe lunch for $20 dollars and a four course prix fixe dinner for $25 to $30 dollars, depending on what you choose. The food is very tasty, very well put together; they don’t just serve a regular salad or soup but a special dish. There is always a veggie option or a fish option for pescatarians like me. I recommend: Lattuga alla griglia, spaghetti napolitana, and dolci del giorno (photo). I am so happy to give Luci Ancora the highest score, four leaves. Nothing in this restaurant is one-use-only. Every decision among food and environment was very careful considered. I think the price is very affordable for the service and food, both of the highest quality.
