Asian Mall: no for me

Veggie Spring Rolls

Legendary Spice at Asian Mall, Eden Prairie, MN 55344

🌿🌿

I went to the new Asian Mall looking for trying new food. If you were there for a real meal and not for bubble tea or donuts, then you only have five options. If you are not in the mood of soup, your options reduce to three. In the soupy sections was Pho Mai and Hot Pot City, although this last one makes you cook your meal, just the opposite experience I am looking for when I go to a restaurant.

We chose Legendary Spice. Chinese Kitchen & Bar. This one was place in the second floor, in a food court style. There is a QR code you can use to order but it was not working well. Finally, a waiter approach to took our order which came one minute later, this tells us it was already cook and waiting. The water was in a glass jarr but the glasses were paper ones. The silverware was plastic and napkins were also paper ones. The hot food came in a real plate (Thank God!) and it was tasty. The price was high for what we consider a fast food meal and considering most the utensils we use to eat would end in the garbage.

While we were eating, next to our table it was a candy cotton machine that continuously plays several well-known rock classics in a very high pitch, as if a kitten was next to you singing or crying. The machine was so shiny that it could light a whole house. I'm assuming the intention was to create a modern or futuristic atmosphere but the result was one impersonal, cold and huachafa.

As is the main purpose of this blog, I can't separate the taste from my commitment to ecology. So, I don't want to support any business that hasn't an environmental approach express, in this case, in the use of disposables and waste of electricity. Unfortunately, we won't come back to Asian Mall.
